Registation Extended to September 18

There’s still time to sign up for City of Welcome, a day of Catholic solidarity, conversation and action around migration and refugee issues. The day begins with Mass with Cardinal Cupich, followed by panel conversations, practical workshops, a volunteer fair and lunch. Registration has been extended through September 18, and space is limited.

Coffee & Donuts Returns This Sunday

Stick around after the 9:30 or 11:00 a.m. Masses this Sunday for coffee, donuts and a chance to catch up with your parish community! Want to host Coffee & Donuts? Become an ICSJ Altar Server

Students in 5th grade and up are invited to become Altar Servers! It’s a great way to get involved, learn something new and play an important role in our Sunday Masses. Training is Wednesday, September 23 at 3:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Church. Parent/guardian permission is required, so please contact the parish office at 312-787-7174 for details.

Alpha Kicks Off Next Thursday

Calling all believers, seekers and the simply curious!!! Our new season of ALPHA kicks off on Thursday, September 17th at 6:30pm at Immaculate Conception. Just come and see - bring a friend for an evening of delicious food, engaging video and inspiring conversation. Young Adults: Join Us for Alpha + AfterAlpha

Young adults, join us for Alpha this Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Immaculate Conception, then head to AfterAlpha at Winnie’s on Wells Street for a drink and a chance to connect. AfterAlpha follows Alpha every Thursday, September 17–October 22, from 8:15–9:15 p.m. Register on our Alpha page.

OCIA Gatherings Begin September 17—The Door Is Open

You don’t have to be ready or have all the answers—you just have to be willing to take a look. Whether you’re considering becoming Catholic or want to complete your sacraments, OCIA at ICSJ is a welcoming, no-pressure place to learn more, ask honest questions, and see where God may be leading you. More Than Knitting

ICSJ’s KnitWits ministry is a welcoming community where people gather to knit, crochet, share ideas, encourage one another, and enjoy conversation while creating handmade items for children served by Children’s Place. Whether you’re experienced or just getting started, you’re invited to join us Monday, September 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the St. Joseph Community Room.
